Today kicks off sxsw 2011, the week-long conference hosted in Austin, TX every march celebrating film, music and interactive tech. I've spent countless hours over the past few weeks checking out the panels and making my own schedule on the "unofficial" austin2011.sched.org website. Unfortunately the browser on my mobile device does not remember my password (since I haven't logged in there yet). Sched.org automatically detects your mobile browser and gives you the mobile version of the site. Should be smart, right? Here's where the fail comes in: their mobile site has no "forgot password" feature. Well, android to the rescue. Thanks to this android browser trick, I can make their website think I'm using a regular browser and give me the regular version of the website, including the forgot password link. Sxsw is saved.
